Schmidt looked to cows as a leading source of global warming, and urged the audience to look at plant-based foods that could serve as a meat replacement. He pointed to a new technology not usually discussed at industry conferences like this — the 3-D printing of buildings.
He said construction represented 5% of the economy, but that homes and buildings built in an industrial environment could be cheaper, more efficient and built on 100% recyclable material.
